I’m so excited to meet you. My job as your coach is to partner with you on your journey to better health. Together, we will create a health plan that’s just for you, find solutions to challenges, and celebrate all of your wins. It’s going to be a great ride.
I want to make sure that you get the most out of our time together. Here are a few tips to help you get started.
Before the Session
Come prepared. Write down questions you have for me.
Check in with yourself. You may want to share your answers to the following questions:
- How confident are you in managing your own health?
- How ready are you to make lifestyle changes?
- What is your main motivator for improving your health?
Create a list of all your meds. Gather any lab results you have handy. We can walk through these together.
Get familiar with program features. Explore features of your program(s)
Use your device regularly. This information will help guide our session. Download ourapp and try these features:
- Track your food
- Message a Coach
- Track your activity
- View your data
During the Session
Grab a paper and pen to take notes. Write down questions you have for me so you don’t forget them. Take notes on new things you learn during the session.
Invite loved ones. Invite a family member or friend to join you if you feel comfortable doing so.
Get comfortable. Find a comfortable, private place to relax.
Be open to new ideas and suggestions. I want you to feel at ease sharing your deepest challenges and greatest successes. The better I get to know you, the more I can help you reach your goals.
After the Session
Review your post-session email. This will include a summary of your goals and some helpful educational resources related to what we talked about.
Continue to engage with your coach. Schedule another session or use the Message a Coach feature in the app.
Continue to use your device(s) regularly. This information will help guide future coaching interactions as well as your journey with the program.
Our sessions together will be more productive if you take these steps before, during, and after. Together, we will take big steps on your wellness journey! I’m looking forward to meeting with you soon.
