Your Livongo meter makes it easy to keep all the information needed to manage your diabetes in one place. Seeing your insulin dose, carbs, and blood sugar reading together gives you and your doctor everything you need to evaluate your treatment plan and make informed decisions.
Logging carbs and insulin on your meter is simple. Here’s how:
- Tap Settings on your meter, scroll to Insulin and tap On
- Tap the arrow in upper right-hand corner
- Insert a test strip and perform a blood sugar check
- Tag your meal, then tap Insulin
- Choose the type of insulin you are on
- Enter the number of units and tap Save
- Tap Carbs and enter the number of grams
- Tap Next
- Tag how you’re feeling
- Confirm your information and tap Submit
